75-word bio: I grew up in a small-town in New York close to NYC with cool but intense parents, went to U of Chicago undergrad, then to Columbia University in Manhattan for grad school in physics. While out at Fermilab for my research, met and married an awesome chick, got my PhD, did two years of post-doc, had a baby, quit for industry, moved to the SF Bay Area, and four years later bought half a house.
My obsessive hobby is role-playing games, and in particular role-playing game theory. So I've got a separate blog for that plus my web pages. This one is for more personal reflections.
